Five steps from an empty device to a private balance you can spend, trade and send.
Install a client
Veilo runs as a mobile wallet on iOS and Android, as a browser extension on desktop, and as a web app that generates proofs in the page with no server involvement. All three are built around one account experience. See Apps & clients.
Create your account
Choose a Veilo username and set a password. Your recovery phrase is generated and stored on your device, encrypted. Only you have access to it. Deposit secrets are additionally backed up in encrypted form so funds can be recovered on a new device.
Fund a public wallet
Send SOL or tokens to your public Veilo address, or use the funding dApp. You can also fund straight into a private balance through integrated exchange and swap providers, without first assembling funds in a public wallet.
Deposit into the pool
Choose an asset and an amount and deposit. Your wallet generates a secret, the pool records a cryptographic fingerprint derived from it, and from that point the funds are held by the pool. If you have no SOL for gas, use the gasless deposit path. The relayer covers the network fee.
Move privately
You now have a private balance. Send it to another Veilo user by username, swap it, withdraw it to any address, deliver it to another chain, or use it to open positions and place orders through private execution.

Privacy in a pool is statistical: it rests on the size and activity of the anonymity set, and on your own behaviour. Two habits undo most of it: depositing an unusual amount and withdrawing the same amount minutes later, or reusing a destination that is already tied to your identity.
