One device can hold many independent accounts with no on-chain relationship between them, so a trading account and a savings account need not know about each other.
Your keys, and the backup that protects them
A private balance is only spendable by whoever knows the deposit secrets behind it, so losing those secrets means losing access. Veilo backs them up in encrypted form so funds can be recovered on a new device. There is no Veilo login, no email on file and no password reset, which is why backing up your recovery phrase is not optional advice: nobody, including us, can restore an account without it.
The backup is useless to anyone who obtains it
