Spot positions opened and closed from a private balance, including tokenized equities, ETFs and commodities that settle on Solana.

Spot positions

A position is opened by spending private notes and closed by reissuing the proceeds as new private notes. Positions can also be merged, consolidating several into one , which keeps a private balance tidy for the same reason merging notes does.

Action	What happens
Open	Private notes are spent; a single-purpose wallet acquires the asset.
Close	The asset is sold; the output is swept back into a fresh private note.
Merge	Several positions in the same asset are consolidated into one.

Funded from private SOL or USDC

A private position is funded out of the pool asset it is denominated against (SOL or USDC), so both the collateral spent and the settlement returned are private notes.

Tokenized assets

Self-custodial, always

You hold the tokens and control the keys. Veilo never takes custody of an asset or a position. A small swap fee applies and is reflected in your quote before you confirm. Occasionally an asset's sell liquidity is limited; the wallet shows a clear note when that happens.

What is visible

The trade itself is a normal on-chain swap and is publicly visible, as any trade against public liquidity is. What is not visible is whose trade it was, or that it relates to your other holdings. See What Veilo does not claim.
